Monorail System

When it’s difficult to reach buildings and structures by means of conventional window washing systems, the monorail system designed by WINSAFE provides the best solution to the problem by allowing you to move your platform horizontally along the facade while being suspended from our proprietary aluminum monorail extrusions.

 

WINSAFE monorail systems provide workers with easy access to interior atria and undersides of soffit areas. Systems are made up of straight and curved sections permanently connected to the structure with supporting hanger brackets; and trolleys that are free to traverse within the track. Manual or powered trolleys provide means for attaching suspension wire ropes and worker safety lines for rigging suspended platforms or bosun chairs.

Our standard 4″ x 4″ steel, hot dipped galvanized track section designed for I O’ spans and 1,000 lb. Joad rating meets typical specification requirements. System designs are also available for longer span applications and use of aluminum or stainless-steel materials.

Connection details vary to accommodate specification requirements and means for alignment adjustment are provided within the system design

WINSAFE’s trolley is available in manual and powered trolley, which provides a means for attaching suspension wire ropes and worker safety lines for rigging suspended platforms or single man cage.

The monorail is available in two options, stainless and aluminum.

Our standard 4” x 4” steel, hot dipped galvanized track sections are designed for 10’ spans and 1,000 lb rating, which meets typical specification requirements.

For longer span applications our aluminum track is used with a 4” x 6” profile.

Monorail hangers are used as a means of connecting the track to the building structure.

Connection details vary to accommodate specification requirements and means for alignment adjustment are provided with the system design.

Our standard hanger to building connections are cast in embed, weldment and bolt through/ wrap around connection.
